New counties start free — no card required
Until a county has enough active players for a real local ladder, every new player subscription there starts with months of free play, automatically, and we don't even ask for a card. Add one later, only once your free period is ending.
The window closes itself
Once the county reaches its activation threshold, the free period ends for new signups. The earlier you join, the longer you play free.
Everything is included
Free-county players get the full platform: rated matches, a real A–F class rating, local ladders and tournaments, group play, and lessons from local pros.
Know players in a small county? Send them this page — the free window is real and it closes on its own once the county activates. Joining is free everywhere; the free months apply to player subscriptions in qualifying counties. US only.
